The End of Civilization by George F. Walker
We are very excited to announce our forthcoming production, The End of Civilization. After the resounding success of The Return, we're continuing on with another theatrical gem never-before performed in Melbourne. The End of Civilization follows the diminishing fortunes of a retrenched man and the emotional, mental and fiscal toll it takes on Henry Cape and his wife Lily. A sharp and witty script makes this a production you won't want to miss.

JULY 2006 THE RETURN
We're excited to have secured the rights to renowned Australian playwright Reb Cribb's break-through play, The Return. This blackly comic thriller takes the audience on a late-night train trip from Midland to Freo during a heatwave in Perth. Steve and Trev, two blokes from the wrong side of the tracks, take control and force the passengers - beautiful law student Lisa, homeless housewife Maureen and the silent Simon - to confront some ugly truths. Riding on the August Australian premiere of the play's movie adaptation - Last Train to Freo - we're pleased to present this gritty and uniquely Aussie work.
Featuring some new faces alongside the Act-O-Matic ensemble, don't miss out on your chance to see some thrilling theatre that has taken the rest of the country, and the world, by storm!
