Catherine Kohlen
Catherine’s foray into the world of theatre started at a young age. Her background includes stints in dinner theatre, dance, pantomime, cabaret & TV. Favourite roles include

Juan Modinger
Originally from Sydney, Juan moved to Melbourne several years ago and now considers this his home town. Juan has various film, television and commercial credits, and amongst his favourite roles have been Ramon in
Love! Valor! Compassion!, Billy in
One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, Trev in Act-O-Matic 3000's Melbourne premieres of
The Return and a latino homeboy in Neil LaBute's
Autobahn, and Arnold in
Biloxi Blues to name a few. Most recently Juan's worked on Roving Productions' mockumentary series
Real Stories playing a Colombian Ambassador.
Dan Walls
A season of John Patrick Shanley’s
Welcome to the Moon at Chapel Off Chapel in 2001 marked Dan Walls' first Melbourne performance with the theatre company he co-founded, The Act-O-Matic 3000, which was followed by
Italian American Reconciliation at The Store Room in 2002, which he also directed. This play toured to WA’s Blue Room Theatre where it was nominated for Best Production WA Fringe. More recently with the Act-O-Matic 3000, he has appeared in Neil LaBute’s
bash,
Autobahn, and Jane Bodie’s
fourplay. In 2004 he directed/performed in Van Badham’s
Bedtime for Bastards and directed Andrea Gillies'
The Last Word. 2005 saw him perform in the Award winning production of
The Laramie Project, and David Lindsay-Abaire’s
A Devil Inside. Last year, he directed the Victorian premiere of Reg Cribb’s
The Return as well as appearing in George F Walker’s
The End of Civilization. This year he directed the cabaret
Easy Ryder by Fiona Sprott. Other favourite acting turns include
Nuts, All My Sons, Cosi, Rebecca, Much Ado About Nothing, Death of a Salesman and
Cinna.
Brett Whittingham
Originally from Perth, Brett appeared in many productions both for television and stage before moving to Melbourne with the tour of
Ed the Anti-Christ with The Act-O-Matic 3000. Since arriving, Brett has become involved in numerous productions] including
Welcome to the Moon, The Laramie Project, Love in a Cubicle (National Tour),
Blood Brothers, Autobahn, fourplay, Love! Valour! Compassion! and
The Return. His television credits include Secret Life of Us, Blue Heelers, Stingers and several commercials.
